ULTRACIDE Latex insecticide coatings that provide year-round insect control with a single application. Apply to virtually any surface (walls, ceilings, window and door frames, structural members) with a paint brush, roller or sprayer. The coatings dry to a durable, washable finish, and will control insects that come in contact with the surface for up to two years. Odorless, extremely low toxicity and non-flammable. Ideal for use in "sensitive" areas, such as food preparation and storage areas, and living quarters. Two formulations for more control options: ULTRACIDE (white) is recommended for virtually any interior or exterior application (see label instructions for specific guidelines). The white formulation gives a smooth, beautiful finish to any surface it is applied to, provides excellent coverage, and resists degradation by water, weather and sunlight (UV). ULTRACIDE
(clear) is designed to cover interior and exterior surfaces without
changing their appearance. The clear formulation dries to an almost
invisible finish. ULTRACIDE
(clear) is recommended for "banding" applications (similar to conventional
insecticide application) in areas where insects are most active. It
should be used to treat insect pathways and entry routes, on both sides
of exterior walls, windows, doors, wall voids, foundations, and as a
sealant for cracks and crevices. Latex organophosphate insecticide coating
providing continuous insect control for over 2 years. Extremely low
risk of contamination.
Surfaces
must be clean and dry before application. Loose or flaking old paints
or corrosion must be removed from surface before applying. High pressure
water blasting is as effective as light sand blasting in removing loose
or flaking surfaces. As a rule "a coating is only as good as the surface
it covers." Grease, oil, waxy substances, dirt, etc. must be cleaned
from surfaces. ULTRACIDE
can bond to metal, masonry, wood and Other porous surface substrates.
Can be applied using brush, roller or airless or air pot sprayer. Tip
size can range from .013 - .017 pumping at 2000-2500 psi. Clean up with
water and rinse thoroughly. Wash residue can flush to drain or ground.
The percentage of active ingredients is less than 1% ;and not critical
to environment. Application surface temperature: minimum-40 degrees
F, and maximum- 120 degrees F. Do not allow children or pets to contact treated surfaces until coating has dried. May be harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through skin. Avoid breathing vapors while paint is wet. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not apply to surfaces on which food will be prepared or served or in which animal feed will be serve & such as mangers and troughs. NOTE TO PHYSICIANS: Chlorpyrifos is a cholinesterase inhibitor. Treat symptomatically. Atropine by injection is the antidote of choice.
Cost-effective:
Provides year round insect control with a single application.
Once applied, the coatings continue to work for up to two years Unique
polymers allow the coatings to dry to a smooth, durable finish. When
bugs come in contact with treated surface, insecticide micro particles
are dissolved and absorbed by the mucus on the insect's feet.
